What customers say
This is a clean, well-maintained, and peaceful campsite with spacious pitches. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff, the excellent fishing opportunities, and the good value for money. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are consistently reported as clean. While generally well-received, a few guests mentioned dated shower facilities and the need for a children's play area. The site is considered a good base for exploring the local area.

Liked Very nice and well looked after site
Disliked So there was a group argument shouting fighting foul language most the night.
This lady who is regular visitor says nothing.
Then in the morning my disabled son throws 2 stones in the lake. She starts shouting at him and Threatens to get us thrown of the site.
He got very distressed so we had to leave a day early

Non-electric grass tent pitch (four person)
Liked the site itself is lovely, has everything you need. the chickens and cats wandering the site made it so much more pleasant, and the place has a sense of community.
Disliked some other campers were unpleasant but that wasn’t the owners fault. and our only “problem” was the showers are on like 10 second timers so you have to keep pressing the button, made things a little difficult for some of our party due to disabilities etc, but we managed fine
