What customers say
This peaceful campsite is praised for its beautiful lake, stunning night skies, and tranquil atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxation and stargazing. Fishing and wildlife spotting are popular activities. Recent reviews highlight the modern, clean, and well-maintained toilet and shower facilities, with some improvements noted, such as better lighting and drainage. While many found the site well-kept and quiet, some earlier reviews mentioned issues with composting toilets and shower space, which appear to have been addressed. The site's rural location and natural beauty are consistently appreciated.

Great weekend
Non-electric grass and earth tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked A lovely site, perfect camping by the lake and the showers were really good
Disliked Nothing significant but improvement I suggest would be- adjust the light sensors in toilets so they stay on longer. Put a floor cleaner in each cubicle so we can clean as we leave. Extra hooks in the shower. A small fridge for camper’s milk would be excellent and a communal kettle for campers to make a cuppa

Liked Great campsite, peaceful with a very picturesque lake that you can walk round, be aware of the wasps nest by the lake as they stung one of my dogs. Fantastic modern toilets and showers. We were lucky enough to have the campsite all to ourselves for the first night 🌙 ground level in most places.
