Camping pod (comfort, double, no pets)
Liked Stayed in a comfort pod which was equipped with a kettle, microwave, toaster, bedding, heater, crockery and cutlery. Luxury camping! All the staff that I came across were polite and friendly and the facilities were clean and fit for purpose.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.
Fully-serviced hardstanding campervan or trailer tent pitch (small)
Liked The pitch was lovely, well kept and level. There are a number of fishing lakes to walk around and large play areas for children. On site is a cafe and bar area which looked very nice although not used by us. There are nice places to walk dogs around the area. The toilets and showers were kept clean and warm. Showers were lovely and hot. Really nice place to visit and excellently situated for visiting Lincoln and other attractions.
Disliked Nothing really. Some light sleepers may be disrupted by freight trains which run through the night. There were a fair few military jets flying around the area during the night in what I believe is a joint NATO exercise so this may be more regular than usual.

The site is lovely, fab walks with a variety of ponds to enjoy.
Electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Pitches were great, big enough to park your car if you have it. Brilliant clean facilities, well maintained site. The staff we spoke with were polite, friendly and helpful. The walks around the site are lovely, also very quiet site, everyone respected as far as noise levels were concerned. There WiFi you can try free for a hour to see what signal you get, pay after that, we didn’t use it but the option was great. You also can have small fires as long as you have them on the hard standing, not on the grass. We would return but make sure we have a pitch a lot further away from the train!
Disliked The trains, when we read previous reviews prior to booking, we just thought it was just grumblings about them. Without exaggeration they run every 20 minutes from early till late, the tracks are about 100 meters from our pitch. I didn’t hear them during the but my husband was woken 3 or 4 times during the night.
Other than that there wasn’t anything to dislike 🙂
