Non-electric grass tent pitch (riverside)
Liked We stayed in R1 which had loads of space and privacy. Loved the small firepits in each pitch. Loads of wildlife around, lots of nature. Excellent who want to disconnect from the world for a while. Short drive to the bird sanctuary and a pub a short walk away.
Disliked The road leading up to the campsite was a little bumpy to say the least!

Non-electric grass tent pitch (riverside)
Liked I recently stayed at Lee Valley Almost Wild Camping and absolutely loved the experience. It’s a fantastic place to truly relax and disconnect – quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. What makes it even more special is how close it is to London, yet once you’re there it feels like you’re a world away. Perfect spot if you’re looking for a simple, back-to-nature break without having to travel far. I’ll definitely be coming back!
