Positiv Very friendly and nice staff, good vibes.

Beautiful area. Well kept! We love the space.

Negativ We’ve been there 4th time or so and each time there was one bigger group that did drugs/alcohol and they were quite loud until very late playing music.

It was mentioned that quiet time starts at 11. Maybe this needs to be enforced somehow with someone checking the site later? Or maybe put up clearer signs and communicate to be respectful of others very clearly in the confirmation email?!

We’re very sorry that your stay this time was disturbed by the behaviour of other campers on site and will look at our check in process to see if we can make the noise policy any clearer and whether signage on site will help.

We do urge, that if staying with us again and you experience such behaviour, please call our out of hours number and a member of our team will attend the site to address any issues.

Positiv The river area was nice and host was friendly.

Negativ The grass woodland pitch was mostly dirt instead of grass.
This may have just been bad luck but there was two quite loud groups who kept me awake until the early hours, even with earplugs in.
Must be under a flight path because loud jets flying over regularly.
Children running around even though it says no children under 12 were allowed.

Negativ Considering the time of all music etc was 11pm there was a family that had music on until gone 1am and I had to call the out of hours which I shouldn’t have had to do .
We came away feeling very Tiered due to no sleep

Positiv We stayed in R1 which had loads of space and privacy. Loved the small firepits in each pitch. Loads of wildlife around, lots of nature. Excellent who want to disconnect from the world for a while. Short drive to the bird sanctuary and a pub a short walk away.

Negativ The road leading up to the campsite was a little bumpy to say the least!

Positiv Everything was great. Large, well-maintained areas, fire pits, river. Friendly staff. Close parking saved a lot of time on the set up

Positiv If you don't need showers, shop etc, this site is perfect. A beautiful setting in woodland next to the canal. The guy in charge, David, is welcoming and helpful.
