What customers say
This friendly, relaxed site with a pub attached receives widespread praise for its excellent food, generous portions, and warm welcome from staff. Pitches are generally level with good spacing and electric hook-ups. While some guests noted areas needing tidying and dated facilities, management is actively working on improvements, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Pitches in walking distance to the…
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Pitches in walking distance to the pub. The pub was lovely and had a really nice homely feel to it with excellent service. The toilets and shower were clean too.
Disliked The only slight downside was how muddy the pitches were, potentially some kind of track matting would be beneficial.

Not the best for off season caravaning.
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Close enough to Leominster town to be useful, and being just off the A44 makes it easy to get to other places in and around the Herefordshire/Wales boarders.
Disliked Site needs some TLC. Several upturned picnic benches in the hedges, bits of old caravan upholstery in the middle of the field and tracks/hardstandings that urgently need more scalping compacted in. The latter makes it difficult to manoeuvre the caravan, or walk around the site without getting muddy. I would suggest, that as it is, it is not useable as an off/early/late season site.

Liked The very friendly welcome and fantastic meal in the pub. Very dog friendly.
Disliked Alas, the weather over several weeks was against both campers and hosts. The campsite was very wet and muddy, and limited where we could walk the dog.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked not at all
Disliked On arrival the ground was completely unusable - waterlogged.
Parking up we would have sunk into the ground. We were unable to stay, there was no one around to speak to. The site is nothing like the pictures and we left a phone message for them to call us back and still have no reply.

Toilets within the pub put open all night.
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked We had a great stay, very welcoming.
Played pool all afternoon with the locals.
Dinner in the old part of the pub, The risotto was amazing.
Disliked Pitch a bit muddy but that is only due to the amount of wet weather this year!

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked The food at the bar was wonderful. Had the double burger. Was fab. The host was nice. There were a lot of people in the small bar playing pool. They were so loud and playing drinking games in the afternoon. Too Loud for me.
Disliked The pitches were water logged unfortunately. Which would not be a problem if the pitches were wider. Not enough room around the hard core to walk without walking in a bog. Horrendous. Some work needed to the pitches to make them wider and maybe have a small path of some sort to the hook up would be good

Suited our needs within walking distance of town
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Lovely welcome from owner
Pitches were fine although it was very muddy surrounding the pitches but that's to be expected with the torrential rain we have had for weeks
Shower was fine
Toilet was a portaloo which people need to be responsible for making sure its flushed properly after use. Owners can't be responsible for that
Disliked Only one shower. Would be waiting to use if site full

Friendly staff but facilities need increasing.
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Very friendly and welcoming staff. Pub was cosy.
Disliked Unfortunately for us the site was a waterlogged bog so we only stayed for 2 out of the 4 nights we were supposed to stay for. This wasnt the fault of the site or owners, just the bad weather. Wasnt keen on the toilet situation however. The loo's were in the pub and were locked when he pub closed, however a single portaloo was supplied which for a site that pitchup say can hold 51-200 caravans (??) this wouldnt be enough as will be the single shower. Wifi was down so we had no access to the internet for our Alexa. All this information is in the description but maybe could be worded a little clearer. Im sure in the dryer months this would be a nice site to visit with plenty of entertainment.
