What customers say
This friendly, relaxed site with a pub attached receives widespread praise for its excellent food, generous portions, and warm welcome from staff. Pitches are generally level with good spacing and electric hook-ups. While some guests noted areas needing tidying and dated facilities, management is actively working on improvements, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

OK if you want noise and very limited facilities
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The corner of the field away from the onsite noisy pub.
Disliked Everything else. Facilities poor.1 portaloo dirty after 1 day. 1 shower for a lot of people. Pub smelt of burnt chip fat not pleasant when trying to book in or when taking a shower. Toilet block was the pub toilets closed when pub closed. No views as described. Not for us. Sadly disappointed be it all cheap. Sat nav takes you somewhere else!

Very basic site.
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Easy access and friendly staff.
Disliked One portable toilet on-site which I had to advise owner was smeared with faeces all over it so we couldn’t use. Owner advised she may have to close it off then which would mean we had paid for a site with toilet facilities but would have none. Thankfully a gentleman working there said he would clean it. He did straightaway which was a relief and truly appreciated.

Run down and in need of tlc. Friendly staff and nice food
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked The staff were lovely and very accommodating with our autistic son. The food was nice too. The pitch size was ample.
Disliked On arrival the site looked run down and needed a lot of tlc. It would’ve have made a difference if the grass had been cut and pitches tidied. The portable toilet I did not use as it was not clean and glad we took our own as when the pub closed, there were no other facilities. It could be a nice site which is a shame.
