Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: The location is absolutely fabulous, this part of Hereford is very scenic and suprisingly quiet, amazing for walking, cycling etc. The Bridge Inn is in an idylic spot on the river bank, the camp site is behind the pub and has a new shower block. The pub isn't a posh gastropub but a real country pub with lots of character.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Lovely location, pitched next to a gurgling river with electric. Pretty remote and quiet.
Disliked: Toilet block is new but largely seemed unserviced, and unheated. There’s a very basic outside sink for washing up. No phone signal or wi-go outside of the pub.

Liked: Pub and staff great food excellent,Site a bit tatty needs a revamp. My EHU worked but no cover on it so water can get in when not used.Toilets cleanish but no loo rolls, overall ok needs abit of tlc. The big downside was getting there ,roads are very narrow and bumpy very few passing places, bigger MHs and large caravans might find it difficult.6-7 miles of unclassified road after the B road to get there.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Superb location, lovely riverside setting next to excellent pub. Excellent food - enormous sausages with mash! Flat gravel pitch with grass next to it. Plenty of water taps. Out in the sticks....the lane gets even narrower as it meanders across stunning countryside to Hay on Wye. Beautifula rea for walking. Help your dog over stiles though. The Crown Inn at Longtown serves very cheap excellent coffee, and tea at £1. Showers lovely and hot.
Disliked: Unisex toilets /showers ...a young couple emerged fully dressed from a shower cubicle late one evening, not staying on the campsite, no towels in sight! Shower drainage blocked so very slow drainage. Hot though. Poor communication- no reply to email confirming PitchUp booking, and it almost seemed like first come first served. A large campervan arrived after us and couldn't have EHU

Liked: We tend to use campsites as somewhere to sleep at the end of a day, like someone else on here there seemed to be an issue with them not having our booking but as the site wasn't full it wasn't an issue. Our pitch was reasonably level and overlooked the river that gives the Pub its name. They had live music on but we were already in bed, it didn't seem overly loud to me and certainly didn't disturb my sleep and we were in the closed pitch to the pub. The hosts were very welcoming and they had a nice selection of real ales on tap which was great, we ate and drank in the pub and was surprised at how low the bill was and had to double check it for mistakes but it was right. In the morning while packing up the quiet was lovely, just the sounds of the birds and river, I would certainly stay there again. We are self contained in our van so can't comment on the showers but the toilets were clean. On the campsite phone reception and wifi is none existent, didn't bother us but its the nature of the location. If I'm in the area again it would certainly be somewhere I'd stay again.
