Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Beautifully mown grass, lots of space, very clean campsite.
Disliked No hot water in the shower or for washing dishes, no electrical socket at all for charging, and the price for renting a fire pit is high because you are not allowed to bring your own

We had such a relaxed time…
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We had such a relaxed time here. We came as two couples with our dogs and everyone was lovely towards the pups, made them feel really welcome. We played some quiet music after 10pm and nobody minded at all, which set the tone for how easygoing the whole place is.
There's plenty of space to spread out. One tip: bring wedges if you're in a van, the ground can be uneven. Another thing worth knowing is to grab your shower tokens before reception closes at 7pm. They last for a proper shower with a hair wash, and the pressure and temperature are both great. The toilet facilities were kept really clean, and there are recycling bins and drinking water provided too.
The highlight for us was the owners. We overestimated our strength on a walk and ended up needing a lift back from the River Wye, and they kindly offered to come and pick us up. On a hot day like that it really saved us...
A great little friendly campsite with owners who genuinely care!

Liked Facilities were good and kept immaculatly clean.
Great to have options of firepit with logs, etc.
Was a really attractive site, with nice walks nearby, although I wouldn't want to walk along the roads once dark, as no pavements.
Loads of birds of prey around.
