Once you’re all pitched up, you can head straight in for a pint or a wine – this park is rather handily tagged onto a cosy pub. The Hunters Inn, on the edge of Longdon village, is a handy four miles from the historic town of Tewkesbury around half an hour’s drive from Cheltenham, and also within easy reach of several of the area’s most famed historic attractions, including Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucester Cathedral and Hartlebury Castle. The Malvern Hills are also a cinch to get to for walks and big bike rides, and the water meadow at Severn Ham, just outside Tewkesbury, is smashing for a bit of wildlife spotting and birdwatching. When you’re done with days of Worcestershire sightseeing, return back to base for a barbecue. However, if you’d rather have someone else do the cooking, then the pub serves some pretty great locally sourced food instead. There’s a nice sprinkling of entertainment here too: if you’re there for the pub’s monthly quiz, you can exercise some brain cells for a crack at winning the Hunters’ pub quiz crown.

  • Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
  • Electricity is metered on site at £0.20 per kWh and electric cards are available to purchase from the bar. The minimum, non-refundable, charge is £5. Pub hours: Tuesday and Wednesday: 12-2pm and 6-10pm (food 12-2pm and 6-8 pm); Thursday and Friday: 12-10pm (food 12-2pm and 6-8 pm); Saturday: 12-10pm (food 12-8pm); Sunday: 12-8 pm (food 12-3 pm and 5.30-7.30pm); Monday: closed.

Liked Lovely clean site very friendly staff
Meals in the pub are very good.
Nice log fire
Nothing to really complain about
The fish and chips Friday offer very nice portions very large fish.

Disliked I feel they were a tad bit of a steep price difference between the cost of hard standing and grass pitches
Something like a discount offer on food too use in the pub would be a nice offer to maybe offset that cost.
The disabled toilet is strangely the furthest one
I think maybe moving it to the first, the path to toilet is not very wheelchair friendly also the ramp has a lip which also makes it hard to use
The WiFi is pointless even if it is free

Liked Again another satisfying stay here...
- Clean bathroom facilities
- Beer reasonable price
- Food reasonable price & good quality.
- Staff were attentive & polite.
- Electric Metered but reasonable price

Disliked Bit of a pong at the front of the pub from the waste tank ? But was okay in the campsite and rear garden area.

Dish-washing area is in need of an update but bathroom facilities are excellent.

Also, would be appreciated if campsite users were offered some level of discount on pub food or reduced campsite rate for repeat visits especially if 2 or more nights. Despite bringing my own beers, we spent quite a few £'s on meals and drinks.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked The site was clean, nicely laid out not far form the pub the showers and toilets were of a high standard clean plenty of room, pricing was good for camping. The pub was great lovely food pricing competitive, staff were very friendly and really good at there jobs 10/10

Liked Perfect site. Toilet/shower rooms were immaculate. Being adjacent to the pub was perfect for us with a vw camper it meant we didn’t have to pack up to drive and the food was fantastic

Liked Lovely quite site great staff on caravan parcleaner ub fantastic toilets, however we're not cleaned on our 4 day stay one ran out of toilet paper maybe a laps did not spoil our stay..

Liked Lovely relaxing site, next to pub, Fab food and reasonably priced. Vicki checked us in and was really helpful and looked after us. Letting us borrow a longer electric lead and making sure we settled in OK. Brilliant showers/toilet block. Thank you Vicki we will be back

Disliked Would be nice to know how much electric you have left ..maybe a text when running low if not on a online system yet . Other than that, which was minor -no issues.
