What customers say
Guests consistently praise the friendly and welcoming owners, the site's convenient location near the Forest of Dean and local amenities, and the generally clean facilities, particularly the showers. Pitches are often described as spacious and flat. Some minor points include a lack of hot water for washing up, occasional queues for facilities when busy, and proximity to a road, though most find it peaceful.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great location central to Forest of Dean attractions and wye valley. Good facilities - two showers and two toilets. More may be needed when busy but they are well looked after and clean. Lady covering reception on bank holiday Saturday was super helpful and friendly. Picnic benches were very handy for our young family. Not the largest of sites but enough space for children to play when the vehicles weren’t moving. There’s some traffic noise due to proximity to the road but I woke up one night to the sound of an owl, which was really lovely. We recommend the Butchers arms for food in Clearwell. Thank you for a lovely stay

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Owner was super friendly, facilities were so clean and smelt fresh no matter what time you used them. Loved the little onsite shed/shop thing. Great location and was a lovely friendly campsite to stay on with lots of space so you don’t feel like you’re in the pockets of other guests.
