Mi è piaciuto Flat field, although there were a few others on the site it was nice and quiet and plenty of room to have your own space. Basic loos and showers but clean and the shower was powerful and lovely and hot.

Lovely host, very friendly.
Toilet facilities were lovely and clean.
Non mi è piaciuto Only use of one toilet and shower due to other being allocated to Duke of Edinburgh party. Resulted in queuing to use toilet.
Such good value for money. Perfect for access to forest cycling.

Mi è piaciuto Quiet and clean campsite with very friendly and well organised owners. Nice countryside with easy walk into Coleford for supplies as needed. Really nice that large groups were not present peaceful! so that noise levels were peaceful!

Non mi è piaciuto A group of six young males pitched up next to us with three tents in a circle surrounded by three cars and sadly took away the peaceful nature of the site and replaced it with swearing and a loud base beat. They had booked direct with the owner not through Pitchup. We left at 9.30 pm as we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on site. Also the logs and fire pit were pricey at £20 - more than doubled the cost as the pitch was £18 - you will need cash for this.

I’m sorry you had to encounter the lads behaviour.
They had set up their tents before they had confirmed with me that they could stay.
I did tell them our rules and noise curfew etc.
we don’t usually have group bookings so this was out of my hands this time.
Also you were given the use of a fire pit for hire
Starting kit (firelighters/kindling wood/paper and few smaller logs then a bag of logs.
The bag of logs are £8 per bag when required on their own.
Excellent site with clean facilities and friendly owners.

Mi è piaciuto The toilet facilities were clean, well lit and dry.
The campsite was relatively smooth and it was easy to get the pegs in the ground.
The campsite owners were right next to the site and were really friendly. We bought logs and fire lighters/newspaper from them and they later on, whilst we were out, brought us kindling to use too.
