Liked Toilet facilities are very clean and well maintained.
Pitches are good and the brewery was excellent.
Disliked Pitches were OK, could do with a little more room to help with privacy.
Lovely welcome…

Liked Lovely welcome
Disliked Cold showers
Very expensive for backpackers doing the Thames Path.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked There was a bar area, which had live music. This was far enough away so that it didn't keep the campsite awake. You could also buy burgers from there. The facilities were modern enough, with a nice washing up area. Fellow campers were also quiet during the night. Would be great price if you are a group or family staying in one tent
Disliked As a backpacker, this was exceptionally expensive, as we were told that we had to pay for two separate pitches due to licensing - most sites charge £10 for a backpacking pitch, rather than the £35 we paid. However, there were other pitches that had multiple tents per pitch, so one rule for one and one rule for another. There would have been ample of space for two backpacking tents on a pitch for people doing the Thames Path. Due to the cost, we were expecting better facilities than there were. Site very quickly ran out of toilet roll and hand wash. Toilets also became dirty very quickly. According to other campers, this was a frequent occurance. There was no reception area, so we couldn't even speak to anyone about it. There was also nowhere to charge phones and no WiFi available
Not worth the money! Will not be returning!

Liked Erm…. The size of the pitch was decent.
The Tap Room was lovely but it has nothing to do with the campsite
Disliked The photos and write up do not portray the camping experience here!
*No management/welcome on site.
*Toilet facilities were terrible: every toilet seat was broken, no toilet roll, no soap, no hand drying facilities.
*The showers were gross with green algae growing up the walls and cold unless you get up early
*There is no walkable path to the lakes as described.
*The designated ‘dog walking field’ and ‘picnic area’ had campers in them.
*The rules state no awnings/gazeboes yet everyone had one (as they fit on the pitches).
*Muddy and VERY uneven pitches: it’s like a ploughed field that has been seeded with grass.
*States WiFi, but no idea where or how to get on it
*The onsite farm shop was actually a vending machine with cheese, sausages, playing cards and dog poo bags!
NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Will not be returning!
Great value for money, would stay again.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Very Clean toilets and showers, great bar/tap house and plenty of room for kids to play. Outside catering van was onsite “gurt wings” absolutely brilliant! Whether this was put on for the local event or it’s a regular thing not sure but it was a great addition.
Disliked Pitches were quite uneven, but this is a developing site and I’m sure this will be resolved at some point.
Would benefit from a kids play area

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Location: Cotswold Sculpture Park on doorstep and lovely country, lakeside and infant Thames walks nearby.
Disliked Not so much 'grass'pitches as 'dirt 'pitches and as it had been a bit wet our awning and tarp got filthy!
Didn't get any kind of welcome as there was only a notice indicating a mobile number and name for any problems.
Not good value for money.

Liked The location is great, and having a vending machine with local products is a nice touch.
Disliked Lack of toilet paper, take your own!
Overcampers are not adhering to the rules.
Has huge potential if they got the basics right!
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The on site bar. Burgers were absolutely amazing. Nice location
Disliked Toilet and shower facilities were basic. Loo roll ran out!! Pitches are really close together. No reception or management on site?
Beautiful scenic views, not overcrowded, good bar on site…
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Beautiful scenic views, not overcrowded, good bar on site
Disliked The site had not been finished for the season, when we arrived they were still put up signs for pitches. There was no running water on site either, so no showers or even washing up water.
