Gostou The pitches were good and the site was lovely and the food wagon served excellent food

Não gostou The toilets were always out of hand drying facilities and the showers didnt drain properly so your feet were wet even when you had finished showering

Não gostou Some dogs were off lead!!! Not supposed to be so not the campsite owner’s fault!
Shower drains were blocked so water didn’t flow away otherwise great showers.

Gostou I booked this campsite as it accommodated campervans with awnings, it was close to the lakes, and it looked clean and tidy.
The facilities were spotless. Can’t fault them at all. The showers were very good, despite other reviews about hot water running out. They will anywhere if there is a volume of people.
The pitches were spacious and plenty of them.
Fires allowed
A really good food van on site operated by a very helpful chap.
Overall I would recommend the site and I will be coming back.

Não gostou The only real issue, which isn’t really the sites issue is the lack of access to the lakes across a very small field. Barbed wire fence is up which basically means what would be a 100meter walk direct to the lakes, is a 20 minute walk around country roads with no paths.
Maybe in the future the owner can come to an arrangement with the other farmer to allow a fenced walkway. I would pay a few ££ extra for my stay to have that.

Gostou Great location good facilities. Clean and functional toilets and showed. BBQ/fire pit provided, and a security gate for added safety. Cirencester, Somerford Keynes and Malmsbury are lovely local towns to visit.

Não gostou Not much to dislike. Could have more space per tent but to be fair, it was good . I’m being picky. WiFi was a bit hit and miss 🙏🏻

Gostou We returned from last year & we loved how much the camp site has improved. You have worked hard throughout the winter to sort the grassing issues you had in 2025. Really cool camp site. Thanks.

Não gostou My only negative was my boy was playing & there were a few areas that had spikey weeds & he stepped in them whilst playing in the middle of the field (opposite the electric hook area)

Gostou The campsite is very overpriced for facilities, its a lovely clean campsite with great food hut and facilities are adequate , pitches clean and well portioned, just very expensive for what is provided.
Also it seems very silly to not be able to access cotswold beach lake through the field. We stayed here specifically to be close walking distance to lake and beach, it is very close but blocked off with big hedge, so have to walk in the opposite direction to get to lake- 20 min walk
