What customers say
This peaceful, back-to-basics campsite offers stunning countryside views and a tranquil escape. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful owners, as well as the quiet rural setting with farm animals as neighbours. It's ideally located for hiking and cycling, with easy access to local villages like Youlgreave. The site's main characteristic is its sloping pitches, which most guests manage with levelling blocks. Basic facilities are available, including drinking water, chemical disposal, and electric hook-ups. Despite minor inconveniences, visitors frequently recommend and plan to return.

Great site and lovely views!
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely views and quiet site, friendly owners. Plenty of room on the pitch. Have been to this site before and its in a great location for walks and visiting different places of the Peak District.
Enjoyed watching the farm animals.
Just make sure you take blocks with you as the site not very level due to being on a slight hill. You are in the Peak District after all.
Plenty of options for food in Youlgrave which you can walk to from the campsite.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Location was lovely. So peaceful and wonderful views across rolling countryside. Easy access to River Bradford and Bradford Dale. Dogs loved it.
Disliked Only suggestion would be to please gather the grass cuttings when mowing. On a wet, dewey morning it’s a nightmare walking the cuttings into the van.
