What customers say
This is a peaceful, quiet campsite on a working farm, praised for its stunning countryside views and excellent location for walks and cycling. Visitors highlight the friendly and helpful owners, with many expressing a desire to return. While described as a "back to basics" or "no frills" site, it offers electric hook-ups and essential facilities. Some pitches are noted as being sloping, requiring levelling blocks, and occasional issues with muddy ground after rain have been mentioned.

Liked Lovely small back to basics site, company from the cows/ calves, sheep/ lambs, which just added to the experience. A 5 min walk takes you to the most beautiful river walk to the next village, the George hotel’s food is amazing. The owners are so helpful and friendly ( the eggs are gorgeous)

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Really quiet. Small site. Great views. Would highly recommend. Even though storm Dave had a go at blowing us away we really enjoyed it.
Disliked Pitches are uneven. Bricks etc are provided so didn't affect our stay. We managed to get perfectly level. Entrance is a bit tight, we have 8m caravan and long estate car and while it was tight it wasnt impossible. Water pressure on drinking water tap could be better.

Ok for a few nights and probably much more suited for summer camping
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The price for an electric pitch very reasonable. If you like to wild camp then thus is good. The owner was helpful and offered to come out if necessary. Peak District very accessible.
Disliked Quote remote. The campsite is in an unlevel field which when wet is a challenge to get out of. No lighting at all. Needs more signage from the road.
