What customers say
Peaceful rural site with great countryside views, perfect for walkers/cyclists with direct access to routes like the Limestone Way. Owners praised for friendliness, atmosphere tranquil. Near Youlgreave. Basic facilities, electric hook-ups. Note: some pitches slope; bring levelling blocks. A "hidden gem" and "little bit of paradise."

Liked We liked the location - beautiful views and very peaceful. Excellent walks from the site.
Disliked The field was a lot more sloping than expected so it was very difficult to level the campervan with the depth of chocks we had. There was really only one pitch which was reasonably level but this was already taken.

What a little gem! Back to…
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked What a little gem! Back to basics- it’s a field with a tap and Elsan point.
The owner doesn’t bother you, but they’re at the end of the phone for any help at all. This is a “pick a pitch, get yourself set up and give me a shout if you need anything” place. Just like they used to be!
Plenty of space by each hookup point, configure your setup how you like.
The most relaxing few days we’ve had in a long time. This site is in a stunning little area, with a small village nearby. Not far from Bakewell and Buxton if you want supermarkets etc or loads of little villages/walks etc within a short drive.
Really quiet site, only sound is from the cows and chickens. Oh, and the occasional hot air balloon that lands in the next field!
Disliked Not a dislike really, but there are no toilets or showers.

Liked Clean and tidy! Loved just sitting and watching the cows 😂
Disliked On a slant, however that’s our fault, we are not pros when it comes to chocks!
