What customers say
This campsite offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, with spacious pitches and a friendly, attentive host. Facilities, particularly the toilets, are consistently praised for their cleanliness and good stocking. Guests appreciate the back-to-basics charm, the convenience of a nearby pub, and thoughtful touches like an honesty box. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some minor points include occasional windiness and a slight slope on some pitches, but overall visitors highly recommend and plan to return.

Very good site..Ideal location in the Peak District. We will be back.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We loved the view and it's remote location.
Facilities were immaculate. Jade welcomed us as we arrived and was seen regularly around the site during our stay. There were lots of pitches in different stone walled fields that were well kept. The footpath to the pub was inviting and when we arrived at the pub it was well worth the visit.
Disliked Unfortunately during our stay it was quite windy. This could be expected but we also seem to have arrived at the same time as the wasps. They were very annoying. Obviously this was beyond the control of the site owners.

Brilliant site. Really enjoyed our stay. Will be coming back.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great price per night. Plenty of space to camp. Only couples amd families allowed on site, which made the whole site far more peaceful compared to others I've been to. Toilets kept clean with plenty of loo roll.
Disliked No showers not end of the world and would prob push prive up. Warm water to wash up with would be nice but not essential. Some music went on past 10pm. Didn't last too long past 10pm. Maybe a couple of site walks after 10pm asking people to turn music off would be good. Wasn't a big issue.
