What customers say
This is a peaceful, basic campsite offering excellent value in a beautiful location, ideal for walkers and explorers of Thor's Cave. Pitches are spacious and the site is generally well-maintained. Recent upgrades include a new toilet and shower block, which guests report as clean and modern. Nearby pubs and food vendors are a bonus. While some guests note potential for mud and limited phone signal, the overall experience is highly positive, with many planning to return.

Beautiful location with poor site management
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Beautiful location with nearby pub. Well maintained amenities.
Disliked Site management is poor. No one meets you on arrival you have to phone (and we suspect some don't do this). We agreed pitch 8 for our stay with one motorhome on pitch 9 on arrival. Then a car arrived with a tent, then a white van, then a second white van, the second of these parked <6 feet from our van. So, by morning 1 motorhome, 1 car, 1 tent and 2 white vans all on one pitch immediately next to us.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Was a nice site with friendly staff. Plenty of space in the pitch and very quiet area.
Disliked The showers didn’t drain properly so when someone showered the whole toilet block was flooded. It also probably needs a bigger toilet block for the amount of people staying there.
