What customers say
This campsite is praised for its spacious, peaceful meadow setting with stunning views and a strong respect for nature. Guests enjoyed the unique hedgerow shower and composting toilets, as well as the option to hire fire pits. The on-site café and proximity to local walks and attractions were also highlights. While generally described as clean and well-maintained, some feedback mentioned basic facilities, occasional noise disturbances, and issues with certain amenities such as the compost toilet latch and shower functionality. Manager replies indicate that specific issues like the gate and shower have been addressed.

Such a beautiful and peaceful location…
Meadow non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Such a beautiful and peaceful location - the perfect escape from it all for a while. The café was great, the staff were very polite and helpful. It was my first solo night away in my camper van (with my dog as well!) and I felt perfectly safe. I will be back!

Such a shame as it was so beautiful there
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The meadow was great, very peaceful and relaxing. Loved the views
Disliked Being woken up at 1 am with loud screaming and singing over a microphone coming from the barn area. We had to leave as we couldn’t sleep. Most people would go there to get away from noise but unfortunately we couldn’t have a peaceful experience

De ruimte, de weidsheid, de rust…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked De ruimte, de weidsheid, de rust en het respect voor de natuur wat door de eigenaren werd uitgedragen. Ons ontbijt werd geserveerd op het terras van de bijbehorende lunchroom. Het was heerlijk.
Disliked Eigenlijk was alles perfect. Dat kwam ook door het weer en door het feit dat het niet druk was. Het sanitair is sober en met respect voor de natuur.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely quiet, spacious campsite. We were tucked away in a corner of the field and had a really good space to ourselves.
The hedgerow shower was a wonderful, liberating experience, and the composting loo and cold water sink were absolutely fine.
It was great to be able to book a fire pit and wood, and it kept us warm well into the evening.
We were glad of the rule that we had to take our car back to the car park after dropping off our stuff - very mildly less convenient, but much nicer to have a field without cars.
The owls hooting across the field at night were a special treat!
All in all a great campsite if you just want a quiet simple time.

Beautiful location, wonderful facilities
Bell tent
Liked The bell tents and the location was outstanding. The toilets and showers were spotless and fantastic.
The walk to the local pub was wonderful too!
Disliked Would have been useful to have somewhere to wash things up, a larger sink/tap. Other than that it was grand.
