Negativ Poor facilities. No working water to wash up. Shower facilities are a joke. Toilet has no composting material to stop the smell.

Noone to welcome us or check in. Given a firepit with just 5 small logs for £12. No firestarter no kindling.

We sent you several emails with information for your arrival and check-in, including how to access the firepit and firewood. You paid a total of £11 for both, and your firepit was filled with at least 10 logs. The water and other facilities on site were running as normal as far as we were aware. We had other campers staying at the same time as you who reported no problems when they joined us for breakfast in the cafe the following morning. We had staff on site throughout the weekend who could have rectified any issues if you had informed them at the time.

Positiv The space per pitch is fab, the toilets were clean looked like new.
Didn’t use the cafe but will next time it’s a great asset to have.
Went for a walk across the fields to pub 👍

Positiv Vast open field was fantastic, plenty of level space to pitch, great outlook and view. Enjoyed the fancy hedgerow shower, a real novelty and the other facilities were top notch. Next time we'll have to try the cakes!

Negativ The walk back from the pub along the road was a bit hairy.

Positiv A huge open field that got sun all day long. Fabulous views of the sunset.
We had plenty of space- not prescriptive about where we could camp. The hedgerow shower looked like it would be fun for those wanting to get back to nature.
The showers and loos next to the farmhouse were lovely and clean.
It was a lovely place to stay and we had a great time.

Negativ Expensive for a pitch, but you can have multiple people on your pitch (would be expensive for solo travellers / couples). Cafe has limited opening hours ( we had to get going before it opened at 9:30)

Positiv If you want a night with morbid silence this is the right place. As the morning rises, you will get the best sunrise ever. The air is fresh, you can buy your coffee or any cold drinks and even food if you like. Whatever you do don't miss the sunset, that's where magic begins.
