What customers say
Guests praise the beautiful setting and friendly, helpful staff, particularly Rob. Children enjoy the animals, play areas, and the freedom to explore the park after hours. The safari tents are a hit, though some guests recommend bringing a camping stove for quicker morning beverages. Limited farm shop produce and a lack of electricity near tents are noted, but overall, visitors report a blissful, back-to-nature experience with plenty to keep families entertained.

Fab long weekend here! Give it a try!
2 bedroom safari tent
Liked Loved everything about our stay at Buckleberry Farm! From the moment we arrived Rob was amazing! Showed us everything in our tent, explained about the site & throughout our stay was always around with a smile & a cheery word. I have to say all the staff were very cheerful & helpful too, especially the tractor drivers & tour guides on the deer safari. Tent was clean, beds comfy & duvets cosy. Well equipped kitchen. Shower was hot & powerful. Kids slept all night & an extra hour in the mornings! We loved the complete break from technology & regrouped as a family reading, playing games, painting & more in-between farm activities. We only cooked on the outside log burner/bbq as it was too hot to cook in the tent but we managed a variety of yummy meals (bbq meat / pasta / breakfast / marshmallows). Looking forward to returning in the Autumn to try the log burner in the tent!
Our favourite thing was the deer safari - they are so beautiful & with the added bonus of them coming to the fence outside the tent too. Felt magical.
The farm activities were good & the play areas clean & safe & fun. Staying onsite with the option of using the play equipment when the farm was closed was perfect for us. Gave my children freedom & responsibility & my autistic son time to explore when it was quiet. We made up loads of role play games on the equipment, hunted for stone ‘gems’ & a stick can be so many things!
We really want to go back in another Season so 🤞🏼
Disliked Nothing really!
I would just probably advise that if you had a baby / very young child and needed food quickly then bring a gas camping stove as the log fire isn’t that speedy!

2 bedroom safari tent
Liked Quiet location, nice farm
Disliked The tent was very dirty with lots of dust and cobweb on the furniture and in the rooms. The tent had sharp and dangerous finishings that does not make it safe for a young child (eg there was a sharp metal part sticking out of the bathroom handle). The candles provided were not enough for 2 nights.

2 bedroom safari tent
Liked I was really impressed with the 2 bedroom safari tent, very well put together and offered comfortable sleeping; lots of candles provided and a solution to keeping food cool (as there is no electricity).
Beautiful setting; looking out to woodland and deer whilst drinking my morning cup of tea was idyllic.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Lots to keep children entertained from Deer tractor ride, to soft play, outdoor play equipment and feeding animals at the farm.

We loved our stay! A real feel of back-to-nature, packed with fun.
2 bedroom safari tent
Liked The biggest park was being able to use the parks, woodland walks etc after closing hours; the children loved it! The deer come right up to the fence just by the tent so that was lovely too, with the little bit of woodland just out the front, it really felt like we were eating dinner in nature. The staff were amazing, so welcoming, happy to see us, very helpful, so a big thank you to the whole team there! The animals looked well looked after too, which I think is important. As for the tent itself, the beds were very comfy, plenty of storage space, the fire/stove made a big difference to the temperature in the evening which was helpful, and the showers were nice and hot! We liked having everything lit by candlelight in the evening too.
Disliked We didn't realise how 'off grid' it would be in terms of electricity! There's not a single plug socket anywhere near the tents, and as we were meeting with other friends during the day, we needed our phone battery to communicate, so this was rather tricky. This also meant no hair dryers etc for those looking for tidy wear during the day. Just one plug run up to the tents would have been extremely helpful for emergencies. We luckily brought along our gas stove, which really helped with cooking dinner, as the fire/stove inside does take a while to heat the kettle etc when you'd like a morning coffee. The "fridge" is hot water bottles with ice inside, but these didn't make too much difference, so we couldn't get milk or butter for cooking with or making teas, so I would suggest they provide some uht/long lasting milk pods/cartons, would just make that little bit of difference.

2 bedroom safari tent
Liked Lovely accommodation. Best bit was having the run of the whole park to ourselves in the evening
Disliked One small thing was the lack of produce for BBQ in the farm shop. We knew there was an optional add on of a bbq pack which we didn’t take, but thought the farm shop would have a few more bits but it’s minimal

Clean. Hospitable. Relaxing.
2 bedroom safari tent
Liked Rob - he was beyond what could be imagined in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. Enough to make us go again on its own merits -
However the setting is incredible. The ability to roam around when the farm is closed and have the play area and animals still around was priceless.
Disliked Leaving.

Thank you Buckleburry. We would return in a heartbeat!
2 bedroom safari tent
Liked Fantastic value for money, stunning setting in the beautiful English countryside. Plenty to do and see, the children (11 and 6) were entertained throughout and would spend all day with the baby goats if they could. The animals all looked thoroughly spoilt! Well cared for and healthy. Staff members went out of their way to help, they were very kind. The outdoor play equipment is great fun and keeps the children entertained. The site was so quiet at night, we loved listening out and trying to identify the different animal noises. The safari tent was a really fun adventure.
Disliked Not a dislike as such but we were very glad we took the gas camping stove and some good torches (battery lamps) The fully equipped kitchen could do with a couple more items, we did not have a sharp knife (bread knife only) no vegetable peeler a caffetiere or coffee percolator would also have been a nice touch.
However there were things such as toilet roll, sugar sachets, tea bags, hand soap, towels dish cloth, matches candles etc already in the tent which we did not expect.
