Electric grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch (large)
Liked It was simply gorgeous. I stayed with my son and nephew and we loved it. The staff were incredibly helpful. I had forgotten my tent pegs too, but the staff were armed and ready with spares! The site had many games to keep the kids entertained and the facilities were really good! The site was very clean and Marianne was really friendly and helpful! We would definitely recommend and will be back. I'm not sure if there is any WIFI, but I didn't ask.
Disliked There was nothing to dislike.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The campsite is beautiful and really well kept. The owner is fantastic and helped us with recommendations on where to go. The site is close to Bamburgh beach, just a 10 minute drive to the beach and to seahouses, which is the local town. Parking is free to the beach if park along the sandunes and just hop.on over to the beach. The toliets are portaloos, although kept immaculate by the owner. There is a huge field on site so the children are able to play and enough space to walk your dogs. The pitches are really level and the ground is great
Disliked It's a shame it's not open all year round as it is a great place to visit.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked I adored staying here. I traveled on my own with my 3 children ages 11,9 and 2, my 16 year old came and spent some days with us and all of them were entertained. The camp site itself is great as where ever you are camped you have view of the play park and the toilets. My middle children made friends in the park and unless they wanted feeding, they just played all day.
The facilities are really great. Even with the covid restrictions, a whiteboard had been put up so you could organise your shower time. The toilets, along with the showers, were clean.
The location of Canadian fields is great as you are 5 minutes from Helmsley in the car and we even discovered Hutton-Le-Hole. Again not far from the campsite and a truly fantastic way to spend the day.
There is a restaurant is on site which looks fantastic. it is inside a teepee. Although we never ate in the restaurant, we did order take away food, which was delicious.
You are also able to have small campfires on site, although everything must be put out at 11 and music has to be turned off as it is a family friendly site.
Disliked I loved everything - I would recommend and will definitely stay again.
