Liked Definitely a great location — a three‑mile stretch of sandy beach ⛱️ and just 15 minutes from St Ives. It’s a great spot for families with kids, with all the usual campsite facilities and amenities.

Disliked The site itself is quite large, and unless you’re lucky you’ll end up having to drive to the car park every time you want to go to the beach, otherwise the walk is a long, hilly one. The pitch wasn’t pre‑assigned, and on arrival we were simply told to choose any spot in one of the two electric‑hookup areas. That meant driving around to find a free one, and of course all the best locations had already been taken.
