Electric grass pitch
Liked Thankfully we were able to find a pitch in the shade and it was not far to walk to see the river. The manager was friendly and I was grateful he spoke some English, as my French is quite rusty. It was a convenient stop on a spacious campsite, for one night on our route.
Disliked The toilets would've benefitted from a fan or some kind of cooling system, as inside the cubicles it was boiling hot like a sauna, with no air (albeit a heatwave). My husband mentioned that the urinal wasn't plumbed in properly and was smelly.
I'm glad we weren't staying there when the bar was in use, as it was right next to the toilet/washing facilities.

Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Friendly host on this relaxed farm campsite, with free range chickens, a goat and a pig. We were able to purchase some eggs. It was a lovely welcoming stay for us, with just the right ambience, on our way to the ferry at Ouistreham.
Disliked In one of the loos I could see through the gap in the wood to the person in the next one but thankfully not too much.

Liked Its always very convenient staying at Vishwell Farm, as I can visit family from there as a stop-off point. It was extra welcome this time that the toilet and shower facilities have been updated, so that was much appreciated. It's a clean, peaceful and spacious campsite.
Disliked Just that I got locked in a campsite toilet once and the locks on the new disabled loos/showers are preferable to me than the locks on the other new loos. So although I'm not disabled, I used their combined toilet and shower room, as it was very quiet at that point of the early morning and I wasn't preventing a disabled person using these facilities.
The price had also gone up quite a bit but I understand that overheads need to be covered.

Liked It's always handy to stay here when visiting family in the locality. We've stayed here multiple times and I would recommend it. The site is quiet and convenient, with a lovely farmyard courtyard next to the pitches.
Disliked I'm looking forward to the toilet block being completed, so that we don't have to use portaloos/showers. It's great that they're updating the facilities though and I know these processes can take time. The cost has gone up this year, which makes budgetting more challenging but I recognise that costs are going up everywhere and its probably a necessary reflection of the times we're living in.

Liked We stay here regularly, as it is a great base for visiting family and friends in the locality. It has all the recycling facilities, including food waste well marked out. Although you can hear the road a bit in the distant, the campsite itself is very peaceful.
Disliked The shower and toilet facilities are basic but OK. There is a tap in one of the loo sinks that squirts out at you when you turn it on, so it would be great if this was fixed.

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked We loved this peaceful location in the beautiful Gwaun Valley, there is a lot to explore here. It had a wild feeling, with owls hooting at night. The farmer was very friendly, welcoming and helpful when we first arrived. We were able to base ourselves here and explore the surrounding areas, including the amazing coast.
Disliked The shower and loo, of which there were only one of each, were in the same cubicle.
On a few days there was no hot water for the shower, as the immersion had been left off. When there was hot water, the hot pressure was incredibly low. As we had limited phone signal, it was hard to contact the farmer to let him know and he was often out. I think this campsite may be the start of a new project for the farm and I look forward to it seeing how it develops, as its a lovely spot and has such huge potential. I would recommend this to a friend once these issues have been addressed.

Liked Convenient site for us to visit family in Knighton from, next to the beautiful Offa's Dyke path. Its our 2nd time here. Peaceful (apart from when the train goes past).
Clean facilities.
Disliked It would be good to have more loos, rather than just the one, in case there's a queue.

Liked This is always a very convenient site for us to camp at when we visit family nearby. It's usually quiet and clean, with easy access.
Disliked Would prefer the shower money to be all in, rather than the coin slot machine.

Liked Amazing sea views and lovely campsite hosts. We really enjoyed our stay on this spacious campsite, with clean facilities. The proximity to beautiful coastal walks is wonderful and it's only a few miles from Cardigan.
Disliked We knew in advance that the Internet would be patchy, so we were pleased to be able to use the Wifi at times.

Liked This was a sweet little campsite with a friendly host. I liked that the spaces were organically laid out, nestled in the hills. It was very convenient for visiting family in Knighton, which is a lovely town.
Disliked The campsite was mainly really peaceful and tranquil, however it is right next to the railway. Trains came past only occasionally and it wasn't an issue for us.
There was only 1 toilet and shower for the whole campsite. We did think the campsite would benefit from having more in the way of these facilities.
It would also be lovely to have a composting section for food waste within the recycling facilities.

Liked The view across the fields and the walk to the river from our caravan pitch was lovely. It was reassuring that the toilet and shower facilities were cleaned 3 times a day, especially in the current situation we all find ourselves in.
Disliked The toilet and shower block cleaning times in the morning could perhaps have been slightly later, say 9.30 - 10.30am instead of 8.30 - 9.30am.
