Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked The staff are courteous and welcoming, as is the owner. The pitch was a good size, plenty of space between and well laid out. Plenty of space on the site for children to run around. There is no electricity on the pitches, so good if your using a tent only. There are animals and some very friendly chickens. Pitch under a tree which made it cool in the afternoon. Great location, lots to do and area has lots to offer, with short drive and lots of lovely beaches along the Jurassic coastline.
The site was easy to find.
Disliked There are 2 toilets and 2 showers for the whole site, which was ok for me as not busy, but could cause an issue if site is full. One shower was cold. The toilet door did not lock properly.
Slightly spoilt by a noisy family who rocked up one evening, pitched up 2 tents in one space and continued to shout conversation until 02.30am. Clearly didn't care about the no noise rule after 10pm. Reprieved by my last night as I was only camper on the site. Would have liked a communal fridge to freeze ice packs.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Surrounded by woodland. Great for a campfire. Away from noisy traffic
Disliked Not so easy to find, signs could do with improving. Small campsite squeezing too many people in together. Only 1 male/female shower. You get what you pay for here.

St Austell, Cornwall, England
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Location close to the south west coast path. Good price.
Disliked can be very windy. They allow dogs on the site....some were barking a lot....not a quiet getaway if that's what you are looking for. Showers not free.

Boscastle, Cornwall, England
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Stayed for 2 nights in the back field where the grass is longer. Less people there. The owners of campsite are lovely and welcoming. The site is very close to Boscastle and lots of coastal walks. There is a lot of wildlife around for those who are keen for this sort of thing.
Facilities are basic, but for £6 per night well worth it.
Disliked None to speak of
