Liked Superb campsite with lovely, well-cared for facilities Friendly place with nice communal areas and pancakes for campers on weekend mornings Chickens, ducks and a friendly cat wandering around which is a delight for young children Welcoming and kind hosts who helped us out when we needed Very spaced out pitches - maximum of about 16 pitches in total

Liked Nice open pitch Able to choose space freely Beautiful stream running along two sides Toilets (x2) and shower were always clean and we didn't have to queue Friendly vibe - easy to talk to other people camping around Animals around - chickens, horse, cat, dog, rabbits

Disliked If you're afraid of dogs, you might not like that the resident dog runs free and often hangs around waiting for food. It's quite hard to chase her away as she's deaf, so not the easiest if you're not relaxed around dogs. The two toilets were designated male and female, it would make more sense to remove the signs and have anyone use the next free toilet.

Liked Lovely friendly campsite. Helpful staff. Lots of open space in the middle of the fields. Beautiful location. Near to some fantastic beaches and other landmarks. Good facilities, especially indoor washing up area.

Disliked Needed some maintenance in the washrooms. Possibly delayed because of the Jubilee bank holiday.

Liked This is a really lovely, friendly place. Set in a private woodland area, the bell tent we stayed in was fantastic. The bed (mattress and duvet) were incredibly comfortable. Outside, the owner had set us up with a fire pit and laid the fire for us for when we arrived. The facilities were clean and nice to use. Generally a friendly, welcoming place. Would definitely come back.
