Liked Lovely friendly welcome on a windy night. They let me change my pitch for a more sheltered one suitable for a roof tent. The view was lovely and appreciates the beach access for a short stroll. The toilets are being renovated which I imagine will make a massive difference but I had a hot shower so all good.

Disliked I had a slight sewer smell. Maybe the rain as I was near the toilet block or maybe it was coming from the pitch drain. Not a biggie but it was present.

Liked I absolutely loved this little site. It’s everything a site should be. I had a roof tent and liked the position of Holly on the hard standing pitch. The toilets and showers were immaculate and I really appreciated the quirkiness of their design but also the fact the owners had thought about what a camper needs in a shower cubicle (somewhere to hang things and not get wet!). The stream was just wonderful at night as were the owls and the little robin that invited himself into my car! I didn’t take him don’t worry! Great location. Shame it was just one night.

Liked Really great pop up site. The people that run it do a fantastic job of keeping it immaculate and have thought of everything and are really friendly. I loved the landscaping and the views on the way to the dog park and beyond. Plenty of space and pitch where you like. It was busy but not full. Thought it was very reasonable for the price.

Disliked Not the owners fault but a few people didn’t take any notice of the noise restrictions PM and AM which spoilt it for me a bit. I think if you have a strict noise policy then you need to enforce it otherwise what’s the point of it?

Liked Absolutely loved this site. My first trip with the TentBox. The pitches are so well spaced out. The views are beautiful and everyone was respectful of their neighbours. I loved the farm walk and the field margins left around each one, the wild flowers and the hedges full of blackberries. It is very rural but suited me. I didn’t quite work out how to get hot or even warm water in Shower 1 but since it was 30 degrees I happily had a cold shower. Would have loved a little emergency honesty box - forgot my coffee and was gutted but a minor suggestion not a complaint. The horses sighing was the best sound.

Disliked It was only one night.
