Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Everything! This is without a doubt the best campsite I’ve ever stayed at. You get a private pitch separated with hedgerows that have a grass and gravel area, they do their best to space you out from other campers too - so you feel like you have a private little garden. The pond and dog walks are beautiful, as are the local area and views. Showers (hot adjustable water temperature with good pressure) and toilets were very clean, well stocked and accessible, with loads of room.
The staff were so friendly and their children were polite, excellent little helpers; enthusiastically guiding us to our pitch. I couldn’t fault this site and will stay here again without a doubt!

Liked Lovely, peaceful little campsite - no shower facilities so better for those with motor homes or camper vans but portaloo’s available and clean. Beautiful location and views, great for dog walkers and hikers. Easy to use camper van equipment i.e. chemical waste disposal. No litter or rubbish around.

Liked Lovely views and location, perfect for campervan stays as no toilet or shower facilities. Easy to use electric hookup, chemical waste and other camper van needs. No litter or rubbish at all. Really friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked Road was a little noisy at night but fine for a short stay.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Clean and tidy shower and toilet block, beautiful, peaceful location, gravel electric pitches for those in camper vans. Easy to use chemical waste and water facilities.
Disliked It was quite busy this Summer but that is to no fault of the campsite - it is a sought after location.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Beautiful area and views - other campsite nearby that are lovely.
Disliked I’ve stayed at many campsites, I’m not looking for luxurious facilities, however this one I drove in and drove right back out of.
Toilet and shower block are filthy and static caravans look very run down.
No soap in the toilets (which weren’t cleaned recently as toilet smelt strongly of urine) and I went to pick up a bottle of what I thought was hand soap which was in fact a yellowing bottle of feminine hygiene wash 🤢
The reception caravan was also very poorly kept and dirty. We simply drove off and there are campsites for similar prices nearby that are lovely.
It’s a real shame because the area and views are beautiful.
