Liked A simple, back-to-basics campsite in a good location, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. Very quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay. The only downside was the mess left in the bathroom by another guest, which was disappointing. Otherwise, a lovely, straightforward campsite.

Liked We had a really enjoyable stay. The team on site were extremely helpful and friendly, and the facilities are excellent, being maintained to a very high standard. Communication was great throughout, which made everything really easy and straightforward. The food van and on-site pub were great additions, and the live music on Saturday night was a brilliant bit of fun and created a really lovely atmosphere. We were also impressed with how well thought out the recycling and rubbish arrangements were. Everything was clearly organised and easy to use, which is great to see. Overall, a really well-run site with excellent facilities and a lovely atmosphere. We’d definitely recommend it and would happily return.

Liked - nice lakeside views from hard standing plots - bar onsite, not overpriced - 10 minutes to pubs, takeaway and shop.

Disliked - showers could do with more regular cleaning on such a busy site. - shower temperature either boiling or freezing - busy and a bit noisy, but in fairness we knew this would be the case when we booked.
