Liked Close to a river

Disliked Noise! Several cabins full of teenage boys on a school or sports trip. They ran around shouting and screeching from the minute we arrived at 2.30pm until late into the evening, then started again at 7am! Not sure where any teachers or coaches were. Then there was music and very loud fireworks at 9.30pm. Not a relaxing experience at all. Quite a long walk from town. And not the best or cleanest shower and toilet facilities either. Pitch was more dirt than grass.

Liked Quiet, right by river, lovely scenery, spacious pitch, easy walk to town.

Disliked Facilities are basic, portaloos and only two showers plus outside cold water sinks.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments the web site does state basic facilities we r only a 28 day pop up campsite in 23 weeks time the sheep will be back on there for the winter Colin
