Liked Nice quiet site, facilities were good and clean.

Disliked It’s not necessarily a bad thing but I didn’t see an official from the site in my time there. Granted I was only there for one night but you usually have an interaction with someone on most sites. Maybe it was the time of year also. But there was quite a lot of rubbish lying around some pitches which was sad to see. The bin was overflowing so I guess that is why. One this is that there does not seem to be a gate or barrier to seal the site at night. But as it is in such a secluded place it probably doesn’t need it.

Liked Loved this place and will definitely be back. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Not massive but there were only 7 groups when I went so plenty of space. The staff at the pub are amazing, and it has a lovely atmosphere. The food is very reasonably priced and is good. It is basically a field behind a pub, but that is the charm and it is in an absolutely beautiful location. There is one shower in a shed on the field itself (costs £2 and only takes 2x£1 coins for 6min of hot water) and next to that shed there is a single washing up sink with cold water only. There is a single toilet for the campsite in a building near the pub open 24hrs which is 100 feet away from the field and you can use the pub toilets when it is open.

Disliked Very hard to dislike but I guess it may not be for you if want a sterile faceless and zero atmosphere site. If you want to feel like you are in a beautiful location away from it all with very nice staff then it’s perfect.
