Liked Good size site plenty of choice for a grass only pitch. Plenty of water points, chem disposal etc. pizza was nice defo need to pre order, good walking opportunities some off lead for dogs if careful around livestock.

Disliked Lack of comms prior to arrival on some questions that wasnt on the website. Shop could be open for longer during peak season and times. Elements of the facilities could be updated/refreshed. Demarcation of pitch area; we had large groups pretty much setup on top of us

Liked ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Forest of Dean Campsite We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone visiting the Forest of Dean. The pitches are large and spacious, with plenty of room to get properly set up without feeling crammed in next to your neighbours. The whole site is very well maintained and clearly looked after, and the facilities were excellent — clean, tidy and a good size, even when the site was busy. A massive plus for us was the dog-walking area. There’s plenty of space to get the dogs out for a proper walk, which makes such a difference when camping with four-legged family members. 🐾 The location is also ideal for exploring the Forest of Dean and enjoying everything the area has to offer. Overall, a well-run, spacious and dog-friendly campsite with excellent facilities. We had a great stay and would happily return. Highly recommended — especially if you’re camping with dogs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
