Liked A wonderful personal family run camp site, near to local towns and amenities, yet far enough away to feel isolated. The site is very quaint, and nicely put together, without feeling like you are on top of each other. Very peaceful. As mentioned in other reviews, yes the ground was hard, yes the ground was dirty, but we had a very dry and hot summer so grass is non-existent everywhere. The site made the effort to provide floor mats to stop the transfer of the dirt into your tent, which went above and beyond. They also provided strong ground pegs for those that needed them.

Disliked The shop was an honesty shop, but had little by way of products. I would have expected a choice to buy milk. There were a small number of showers, and the water was lovely and hot, yet one of the showers was like standing under a dripping tap, yet the other very powerful. The pitches are reasonably sized, but you may want to check the size of your tent, some of the larger tents are unlikely to fit within the first few pitches.
