Disliked Very dusty trail into the park . Had to wash the car twice

Liked The facilities are lovely. Had a very friendly and detailed reception. The toilet/ showers are very nice. Stopped for a drink in the bar and the wait staff were really engaging. Nice, well maintained pitch. Very enjoyable meal In the barn on the first night.... the best bit... the fishing. I have never seen carp behaving like this other than koi in our pond at home. They cluster around the swim when you arrive and stay all day. I didn’t fish near the swim as it wouldn’t have been sporting. Over two days had around 15 5/6lb carp. There are bigger in there, I saw them, but missed out on the big tench!

Disliked Would be nice to have more private pitches, although all of our neighbours were very friendly during our stay

Liked Nice site in spectacular grounds

Disliked The unisex toilet block was a little exposed although very clean. Our pitch was adjacent to the kids playground and very noisy.

Liked Nice pool and a friendly greeting. The takeaway available in the evenings was good value and handy when it rained and we didn't want to cook. Really convenient for Disneyland Paris

Disliked The fishing was a little dissapointing, bait kept getting eaten by crayfish and could have cleared the banks for access to the ponds. Toilet block was very basic and could not adjust the shower temperature... was very hot.

Liked Large, clean pitches with lovely views over the lac du St Pardoux. Warm and clear pool and nice restaurant and bar. Good toilet and shower facilities in a choic of 3 blocks. Direct access to the lake and it's beach. Enjoyable fishing within 3 miles nuts walk. Friendly mix of guests from UK, France, Germany and Netherlands. A very peaceful stay.

Disliked Go prepared as the nearest supermarket is 10km down very narrow country roads. Second night a group of young lads set up in the pitch next door and they were a little bit loud (although not rowdy). Would have been handy to have freezer block re freezing facility.
