Liked Being able to pick your own pitch was good, toilets were generally clean and never a queue. Site was well laid out

Disliked Showers need vast improvement, the pressure was terrible, it was like standing under a watering can sprinkler. The temperature varied. There aren't doors, just shower curtains which feels very exposing and no space to hang anything inside your cubicle so towels have to stay outside, no shelves for toiletries etc and a very odd smell in there for our whole stay. Also only three available for each gender so a few times had to wait. The check in procedure was confusing as no one was there when we arrived until 7pm to check in so you are left unsure of what to do, we were asked by a few other campers arriving in the day time what to do so not just us.

Liked Owners are so helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make the stay lovely, they put on sprinklers in the heat which the kids loved. Site is clean, quiet and well spaced. Love the fire pits being delivered with the option to purchase wood at a very reasonable price. Ended up staying an extra night because we had such a great time

Liked The owner was brilliant! He made special giant bubbles for the kids, offered to grab us shopping when he was out doing his and was just generally lovely and really helpful! Being able to hire a firepit and purchase logs was so convenient and very reasonably priced too. The campsite is lovely, facilities are great, the availability of decent sized fridge and freezer as well as kettles was brilliant. The surrounding lake walks are beautiful with birds and butterflies everywhere you look! Lovely for an unplugged break. Great for families, would 1000% recommend
