Liked This campsite was perfect; a hidden gem in the heart of Devon! The owner, Rick, greeted us on arrival and we were able to pitch up wherever we wanted. There was only one other tent pitched during our weekend stay, and there was tons of space to pitch up and run around with the dog. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. You can hear the sounds of nature and nearby cattle as you fall asleep/wake up. There’s also a beautiful, quaint church one minute up the road. Each day, Rick came to check everything was ok. He was really helpful and gave us a bunch of recommendations - will definitely have to come back again. All the facilities were really nice, including well-kept toilets and a shower, and a separate hut with a fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. Despite other reviews, we also had no issues getting super fast 5G + service. 100% would recommend.
