Liked I Loved the fact we could choose our own spot to pitch, we chose a shaded area by the trees due to the heat wave and taking the dog with us. Facilities were spotlessly clean, the toilets, washing up area, and shower (although we didn’t need to use the shower during our stay as we were so close to home and chose to shower at home due to it being too hot for the dog during the day), a full size fridge and deep chest freezer available, usb charging available (we didn’t need to use as we take a power station with us). Some lawn games set up which was a lovely touch. The animal tour in the mornings was a lovely treat which my daughter really enjoyed :) We spoke with Paul every day when he came round to check on everyone and he was a lovely, friendly, knowledgable gentleman who just wants to make sure everyone gets the most out of their stay! Although close to the main road it was not a problem noise wise and we still managed to get great sleep, being awoken to the sound of goats bleating was lovely too! The views are incredible around the site and access was fantastic we felt safe and secure and everything was well sign posted for ease :) Thank you Paul and Jane, we had a wonderful 2 nights!

Disliked Honestly I could not name one thing we disliked about our stay!

Liked The staff were welcoming and friendly and a credit to the site. The facilities were clean, accessible and well looked after in general. The pool was heated and great to start the day or spend a few hours on a rainy day. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, we especially like the fluffy chunky chips. The campsite area was clean and well looked after and a short walk away from the main building. Entertainment was very good, a few different things on certain nights too. The kids areas were great, kept my little one busy for hours at a time and always a glance away so I knew she was safe. Everything was well sign posted and if help was needed then staff were always happy to help. Able to choose our own pitch and felt like everywhere was secure. I am glad we stayed here and would certainly come back.

Disliked The only two things I would have changed was the fact the camp site doesn’t have an electric hook up option, but we did stay for 6 nights so a smaller stay would be much easier than ours, however this is just a preference and we had never camped before so threw ourselves right in. The WiFi doesn’t quite reach the camp site area (we had also paid for the week for up to four devices option) and we were right at the front of the camping green, with a young child this was a bit of a disappointment however the WiFi around the rest of the site worked without a hitch at all times and other than the mornings we were always out and about or at the entertainment anyway.
