Trimingham, Norfolk, England
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked I personally love this place and am gutted that it's not open over winter, I would happily stay here at least once a month if it was, I go away for 2 nights every 2 weeks and this became one of my favourite sites over the summer, perfect base for exploring the local beaches and coastal walks, bus a short walk away literally 5 mins takes you to cromer or mundesley, I liked it so much I kept booking extra days because I didn't want to go home.
It's basic but I love it, I had the best time exploring, painting, reading, walking and meeting some locals at the Tiki bar down the road, found a couple or fossils on trimingham beach and walked to mundesley along the beach.
You do have to walk for a bit to get to the trail/road down the cliffs you need to go through a caravan park to access it or by car it's a bit further down.
Cannot wait for it to re open, I will be booking plenty of weekends for me both solo/with dog and with my children.

Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, England
Silkie non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked I love this site its the second time weve stayed, first time was in summer last year and its so quiet and relaxing no side by side tents, plenty of room and the toilets are always clean and fresh, please dont ever change the layout its so lovely has such a great feel to it.
Sadly the winds were so strong our second night that my children were too scared because the noise it was making inside our bell tent was insane lol i was slightly worried when it started to make the bottom of our tent raise like a dome inside (upto 80mph gusts according to weather app) so as i only live 40 mins away i took them home (if i had been solo camping id have stayed) and returned the next day to get my tent, it hadnt moved its a beast of a tent.
We will be back if we can get a booking for july/August because its perfectly situated and beautiful.
Disliked Lack of wind barrier from open fields, would be great to see some kind of hedging/trees planted along the back of the bottom camping field if possible to create a wind barrier from the wind that howls accross the open fields, even in summer the breeze can be quite strong making it hard to use cooking equipment but wont stop me using this site for summer camping and all year solo camping with my dog without my kids.
