Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring caravan pitch
Liked This Site is Excellent SO well manicured it looks artificial,The short concreted access road from Greenhalsh Lane leads to a manual gated entrance, a small Reception hut is located to the left, the access then changes to block paving, around a central roundabout that has a mood lighted seating and Barbecue area with a small covered fish pond, The 10 pitches are located around this area and are quite large, level block paved with 3 metre high high density hedging to the rear small shrubs dotted between on triangulated grassed areas for your awning and sitting out, EHU’s are located every other pitch so you need a 25metre lead, these are metered and a small £3 deposit per day is required however any unused portion is refunded on departure, and any excess would be payable, ( I was there 6 days and got 50% refund) the grassed areas are reasonably soft so no issues pegging out your awnings etc, they are very well drained and did not become soggy or waterlogged even after very heavy rain,Facilities are spotless and consist of Heated Ladies WC WHB and Shower, Gents WC WHB Urinal and Shower, there is a separate covered CDP and wastewater disposal , drinking water fill point, and recycling bins, access to site is via a locked gate to which you get a key on arrival via a coded safe details provided in an envelope in reception, reception cabin has a good selection of local area tourist brochures and a large amount of DVD’s , there is also a small Dog exercise area ( Max 2 Dogs per pitch) all areas appeared to be accessible for wheelchair users, The Site is close to Blackpool, Fleetwood and Cleveleys and only a short distance from Longridge , Clitheroe and Trough of Bowland for those seeking a more tranquil scene. Be aware this is part of a working farm although there were no negatives from noise or unpleasant smells during my visit, There was no WiFi on site and O2 signal was poor .
