Liked What a fantastic gem of a place. Beautifully maintained by (Jon) the owner. Immaculatlly clean toilets and showers. Captain Bluebell's also has a small shop, book swap room, dog wash and 4 dog walks on site to choose from. Definitely be visiting this one again.

Liked The welcome was fantastic on arrival and throughout our stay. Nothing was to much trouble for the warden (Chris) he checked on not only us, but all guests daily and always with a smile. Outstanding.

Disliked The cleanliness of the ladies toilets. Although the soap and toilet rolls were changed when empty. The sinks and toilets were not cleaned and the floors were neither swept nor mopped during my stay of 6 nights. Disappointing.

Liked Peaceful site, within walking distance to the village shop and pub. (pub doesn't serve food). Picnic table available for each pitch.

Disliked Although the CL's do not need to have toilets and shower on site, this one was advertised as having both. Unfortunately on arrival it was clear to see they are not clean. There is no soap, no loo rolls and no towel paper or otherwise. The step up to the shower block is broken and very high. A couple of us struggled on site with the height of it. Bins overflowing nobody emptying them, stayed 6 nights still overflowing when we left.
