Weymouth, Dorset, England
Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The size of the pitches, you can just go where you want within reason. Friendly hardworking owners. Small caravan/shop selling bits. Bus stop to Weymouth or Lulworth right outside the entrance. Site is noisy during the daytime with a large proportion of campers being families but this adds to the atmosphere. Site is usually quiet for around 11pm, we had no problems with late night mayhem.
The main point has to be the cost, £17 a night for two of us is great value in these times. Buy decent tents, mats etc and enjoy a proper budget holiday there.
Disliked The nearby pub has closed down so you are a bit isolated, Smugglers is just over a mile away.
There arent really enough showers for the amount of people on site, three in the mens and i presume same for women. Not a massive issue once youve sussed the quiet times but its a shame there arent more.
