Liked A fabulous site, well maintained, friendly, spacious and welcoming. Toilet and shower facilities were first class and a pleasure to use. With a well-stocked shop and café on site, this location has everything needed for a getaway.

Liked As many others have stated, this is a quiet, peaceful and comfortable site and most travellers will enjoy their stay.

Disliked Although the accommodation was good and well maintained I was disappointed in owner communication. Upon arrival there was no-one to check-in with and although I was able to select a pitch and plug in, I never saw a representative at any time during my 3 night stay. Additionally, when I tried telephoning the number was unavailable and as a consequence I was unable to access wifi.

Liked Great site conveniently located for accessing much of the Lake District area. Good facilities - if a little limited - friendly staff and the benefit of a pub/restaurant adjacent. Unfortunately, really poor weather curtailed my photography trip but I would most certainly book again.

Liked A great stopover site with everything you need. Easy access, spotlessly clean facilities and a friendly and helpful owner. very keenly priced and represents great value for money.
