Private, beautiful and well managed.

Jun 2026

Liked Fabulous site! Really can't rate it high enough. Beautifully kept, personal pitch area with shrub borders for privacy. Loo and shower (free btw) were kept spotlessly clean all day and night. Sean was a great owner who was very welcoming. Excellent location. Pub within two minutes walk, beautiful views, excellent walks by hills or river. Perfect! Fell in love.

Disliked Neighbouring house were a tad noisy in the early mornings with vehicle and child drop offs. Something the campsite owner has zero control over.

Family friendly AND quiet

Sept 2014

Liked A gem of a find. A nicely tucked away peaceful campsite. The amenities are cleaned regularly, with a shower that saturates rather than tickles - AND IT'S FREE - no racing the timer for another 20p! A very well kept site with lots of tall trees and shrubs for shelter, combined with open spaces for larger groups. Waking up to the array of wild birds chirping was wonderfully reassuring that we were in fact 'on holiday' and not dreaming. When pitching up, take your pick from either tucked away or an open field. Owners are very friendly and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. I'm always reluctant to knock on the door at some sites, but here they are only too happy to help you. Small site shop (we now call it The Tuck Shop) with food and toy basics, but Kings Lynn Tesco is an easy drive for larger supplies. Fire Pits allowed! The children were not frowned upon even in moments of being boistrous and we were all made to feel very welcome! Our second visit which we enjoyed as much as the first time and certainly won't be our last. The surrounding area to the campsite is nice to explore but beware when walking with little children because of the winding roads that are used by the odd car. The traffic isn't heavy but as a mum I was on tenderhooks keeping my ducklings in a safe row. Older children would be fine and there are fields with Pathways that will take you cross country. It is a beautiful rural area worth exploring and you might just find freshly laid chicken eggs down the lane..

Disliked Nothing to dislike. If I were to recommend anything, it would be to add child facilities. The owners have mentioned plans to build a games room and supply other outdoor play items for the new season which will only enhance the site.
