We’re sorry, though, that the toilet and kitchen facilities were locked on Sunday evening and Monday, and that the facilities which remained open weren’t as clean as they should have been due to the increased use.

We’ll certainly share your comments with the touring teams, as keeping our facilities clean and welcoming is really important to us.

Tyckte om Went swimming both days with my daughter. Great pool for little kids. Camp site was clean. I did stumble opon a horror show in one bathroom stall. Otherwise clean. Many things on site to entertain.free as well as hand in pockets activities.

It’s also lovely to hear that you found the park clean and that there was plenty to keep you entertained, with a good mix of free activities and those little “hand in the pocket” extras!

We’re sorry you had an unfortunate encounter with one of the bathroom stalls definitely not the kind of horror show we want our guests discovering! We’ll make sure your feedback is passed on to the relevant team.

It’s fantastic to hear that, after visiting us for the last 10 years, you feel the park has improved. And yes, we’re very happy to hear that our little train is still making its rounds!

Tyckte om Amazing site situated with plenty to do. We stayed Monday-Saturday and decided to extend an extra day due to wanting to do so much more which the kids loved!
The camping pitches filled up eventually across the weekend which was nice too and we were given a pitch located close to the toilet/shower blocks as asked which was helpful for the other party we were camping with. Mostly friendly staff very bubbly on arrival (Gareth) amazing with the kids really boosted their excitement with some freebies bubbles sweets water gun and overall very helpful. Toilets and showers were maintained on the family camping site other than the odd expected blocked toilet

Tyckte inte om Pitches and surrounding were pitch black with zero lighting at all guiding any walk way ect. We noticed we were pitched up out of the way from everyone else which was slightly off due to being unable to mix or mostly the kids mixing whereas others were pitched upon each other and created a nice atmosphere whilst we were tucked in the corner. Wasn’t a massive problem just found it odd more than anything. The cleaner is constantly on duty however found to be just sat on their phone in one of the pot wash rooms and was told to “use the other” even though the other was already in use which wasn’t very professional at all. A lot of the younger staff wasn’t very child friendly or smiley and didn’t seem like they were happy to be there or even help apart from the lovely lad on the train who interacted with the children and really made the train ride fun and exciting.
The inflatable on the lake wasn’t open due to loss of water which was understandable and out of their control but traveling as far as we did was a slight inconvenience as I don’t think we’d have booked it this time if we had known and even more upsetting as it was still up and out to see which kind of rubber it in a little and was hard for the younger to understand why they couldn’t take park.

We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the site, the facilities and the range of activities, and that the camping facilities were well maintained during your stay. We’ll also make sure Gareth hears your lovely comments. It sounds like he certainly got the children excited from the moment you arrived with bubbles, sweets and water guns!

We’re sorry to hear about some of the other points you experienced. We appreciate your feedback regarding lighting around the camping pitches, particularly when walking around after dark. We’ll share this with the relevant team.

We’re also disappointed to hear about your experience in the pot wash area. We expect our facilities to remain available and our teams to be helpful and professional, so your comments will be passed on.

We’re pleased that the train ride was a highlight, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with the team member who made it so much fun for the children.

We completely understand the disappointment around the inflatable. Although circumstances affecting an activity can sometimes be outside of our control, we appreciate that travelling a long way only to find something unavailable is frustrating, especially when it’s still visible on the lake and the children are wondering why they can’t use it.

Tyckte inte om They really need to do something about the temperature of the Swimming Pool, it's freezing! And was o both day we went, advised that's the standard and the way it is.

We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the location of the park. We’re sorry, however, that you had concerns during your stay, particularly around the facilities and site safety.

We want to reassure you that clear rules and safety procedures are already in place across the park. Our Touring Team follows a strict health and safety process when it comes to our electrical hook-ups, including the appropriate checks to ensure they are safe for guests to use.

We also have a 10 mph speed limit throughout the park, which is there to protect all our guests, particularly children and families. When our teams see vehicles speeding or guests not following the park rules, they will challenge them and remind them of the rules in place. We absolutely agree that these rules need to be followed.

We have also recently updated our rules regarding e-scooters. Where our teams observe them being used in breach of these rules, they will challenge the guest and take the appropriate action.

We’re sorry to hear that you experienced a hand dryer that wasn’t working, and we’ll ensure this feedback is passed to the relevant team.

Tyckte inte om Cleaners need to clean the pods better crumbs and cereal bits on worktop cobwebs down side of fridge. Wasted space under worktop could do with a cupboard or drawers for storage .

We’re sorry to hear the pod wasn’t quite as clean as it should have been on arrival. Finding crumbs, cereal and cobwebs is certainly not the welcome we want for our guests, so we’ll share this with our housekeeping team.

We also appreciate the suggestion about the unused space under the worktop. Extra cupboards or drawers would certainly come in handy for keeping everything organised, and we’ll pass the idea on to the relevant team.

Tyckte inte om Pod had no cups in there was nowhere to put anything there was a big space under work top could do with putting a cupboard under there in bathroom there was nowhere to put your towels or your toiletries there was no mirror sofa was uncomfortable to sit on the microwave was dirty i had to clean it before I could use it bed linen was torn in 2 places could do with putting a bigger bin in there as them basket bins are to small had a the neighbour putting there fishing rods on side of our pod making a banging noise so then the dog would bark

Our Lakeside Cabins are designed as a step up from family camping, so they are intentionally basic, but they do provide those extra home comforts including a shower, toilet, sink, bed and kitchen facilities such as a microwave, kettle and toaster, along with crockery, cutlery and other essentials.

That said, we’re sorry that some of the facilities and cleanliness fell short during your stay. The microwave should certainly have been clean and ready to use, and torn bed linen is not the standard we expect, so we’ll be passing these points on to the relevant teams. We’ll also take your suggestions regarding additional storage, mirrors and larger bins on board, as we appreciate how useful these would be.

We’re sorry too about the noise from the neighbouring pod and the impact this had on your dog. We appreciate that this would have been frustrating, particularly when trying to enjoy a peaceful stay.
