Не понравилось Reception staff was rude and unhelpful, had to pay for parking in Holmes pierrepont to use the playground that was advertised, facilities were unclean half of the toilets didn’t work, the showers were the worst we have ever been too.
Also might have been worth letting people know there was the rum and reggae festival on particularly when booking with young children it went on to 23:00

Понравилось It was a nice clean site and well kept, pitch sizes were decent
Не понравилось There was a music festival happening on the site next to the camp site. This was not communicated and when I asked a staff member about it she was got really defensive and told me it’s not their problem and they didn’t know anything about it.
We spent 2 days / nights listening to the base of the music which went on from 1pm until 11pm it was so loud it was as if we were at the festival. We had young children with us 1 and 5 years old who then struggled with sleep

Понравилось Beautiful place, staff was so helpful and very friendly (thank you), we had a couple issues but they were sorted. Great park for the kids, washing Mashine, shop (ice creams, drinks snacks, but pricey but they had something there). Overall we had a great time.
Не понравилось Toilets & Showers not very clean or not cleaned enough
Shop didn’t open until 11 on the Saturday, this was a very hot weekend 36 degrees, we were hoping to be able to buy ice every day but ran they ran out very quickly (this should of been planned ahead of time), also prices are a bit high £3.50 for a bag of ice is not ok. Showers were way to HOT inside the toilets I did ask for them to adjust the temperature which they had a look but didn’t end up doing anything, a woman nearly passed out in the toilets after she had a shower because it was so hot outside and inside.

Понравилось close to bus stop. only one bus in morning and one back mid afternoon. Not suitable for large site. Shop not ever open when therefor 3 days

Понравилось Tidy, quiet and well maintained. Excellent facilities. Close to walking / cycle routes and walking distance from the city centre. I also appreciate that they proactively notified customers about issues at the park.
Не понравилось The cost, £30 seems a bit too much per night for a grass pitch with no electric hookup. I’ve stayed at similar sites for a third of that. Worth it as a cheaper alternative to a hotel if you are visiting the city or water sports centre for a night or two but I wouldn’t stay longer at that price.

Понравилось The staff in the reception in the day were really nice, but the people your letting on the site, ie travellers were pretty discusting to be honest and more should of been to done to remove them, one poor bloke had his tent broke by their kids and 2 filled nappies were just left on the floor, they totally ruined the stay won’t be stopping again

Понравилось There had been an issue with travellers on site. But the campsite offered us refunds or moving the booking.
We kept the booking and the travellers were moved on by the time we arrived.

Понравилось Hard to comment as we did not stay.
Не понравилось We were informed two days before our arrival date that there was an unauthorised encampment. We had booked a pod for one night, I tried to contact the site but was never able to speak to anyone. I left a message with my phone number for them to contact me, unfortunately they never did.
We were coming for two days kayaking on the ww course. We went into the camp site on route to the course to find out what the situation was, unfortunately no member of staff was on site and noticed the encampment was right behind the pods. I phoned the mobile number I was given with the instructions on how to get access to the camp. The member of staff was very understanding when I asked for reassurance on the situation. He said he would contact the campsite manager to meet us and discuss the situation. 3 minutes later he phoned me back and told me the manager was on there lunch break and would not be available for an hour.
We made the decision no to stay the night and informed the member of staff on the phone. He gave me an email address to send for a refund but still awaiting a reply.
