Не понравилось No staff on site. Had to phone and wait 5-10min) for someone to come and open height barrier at 18:30 and 9:30! On a weekend in school summer holidays. Not a cheap site- pay some staff

Понравилось Spending time with friends and being outside, what camping is all about.

My friend had a great experience over the phone to get us placed together.

Pot wash area and toilets were decent and drinking water easy to spot and close to camp

Не понравилось The staff were not at all welcoming at reception, felt like we were bothering them. No check required which seems odd, how do they manage numbers, know who's there or not, and for all safety reasons as well as business reasons.

The pitches were not easy to read, no clear signs on where numbers are and given reception were incredibly unhelpful it took a while to find our pitch.

Понравилось Big site with loads of space. Great camping atmosphere. Loads of toilets, never had to wait for one. Play area a bonus.

Не понравилось We were put on a pitch within metres of a gap in the hedge to the road even though we had put on the booking we had two small children with us. We asked to move pitches but the lady on Reception had no interest in even seeing if it would be possible. Toilets a bit dated.
Play area could do with a litter pick.

Не понравилось Very poor standards of toilet and shower areas. Not clean at all. Couple of showered broken. Needs some serious investment

Понравилось We really liked how big the site was, the closeness to activities and the cleanliness of the site, the access to the shower blocks, toilets, bins and water! It was something different for us this year that we’ve really enjoyed, especially when other friendly families were near us.

It’s been a lovely stay, overall decent place to visit and we ventured out to do activities throughout our stay and a lovely place to come back to, and it didn’t get too cold at night.

We enjoyed the easy in and out access which was pre sent to us, and all the rules laid out in an email, really lovely little find this was.

Не понравилось There was no warden around on the evening and campers were shouting, howling and laughing until 3am onwards for a few nights which wasn’t too fun with two young kids in tow aswell as paying money to be somewhere which email site rules..

The toilets were great, but weren’t clean come Sunday at all abd had so many bugs inside with wet, dirty floors, and the locks didn’t work great, with no in use sign on the doors.. which ended as me exposing my giant white naked ass to the whole entire pitch because someone opened the door mid nighttime shower!

The older lady on reception upon arrival wasn’t the most great with customer service or help, and genuinely looked like it pained her to help me with questions I had. We would of booked on more nights but the customer service and the fella Belly laughing all night every night until well in the next day with no warden on site, really put me off unfortunately, but would love to come back another time hoping the same happy camper goes somewhere else.

We were placed on the road side so as imagined very noisy with cars through out the night, can’t be helped but would have preferred away from the road for the children’s sake next time.

It did say free WiFi but we couldn’t get connected, not the end of the world at all but some families might rely on it more than we do.

Apart from that it’s genuinely a lovely little site to enjoy!

We're sorry to hear about your concerns regarding parking. Just to clarify, we don't charge for parking in the campsite car park unless an additional vehicle is brought onto the booking. Would you mind letting us know why you needed to pay for parking at the campsite? We'd really appreciate a little more information so we can better understand what happened.

The parking charges at the Rapids and play park are managed separately, but we'd be grateful if you could clarify the campsite parking charge so we can look into it for you.
