Não gostou WCs a little messy. Showers flood ( take crocs), but ok.

No one available on check-in to supply information- had to rely on map.

Fire safety lax. BBQs, open fires and fireworks at night, despite heatwave & tinder dry grass.

Gostou The location was spot on as an athlete taking part in the outlaw weekend. Showers were fantastic.

Não gostou We couldn't see the signs for waste water and being right down the far end of the site, made it a bit of a trek, even more so with the elsan. unable to connect to wifi, couldn't access the site at all.

We would like to clarify that the height barrier is manned for 12 hours each day, and information about the barrier being lowered during operating hours is included in our arrival email. The barrier is in place to help prevent unauthorised access to the site and ensure the safety and security of our guests.

During these hours, a member of our team is based in the shop monitoring the barrier, which is clearly visible from that location when it is in the lowered position. We are sorry that you felt unsupported on arrival, as this is not the impression we want our guests to have. We will share your comments with the team to reinforce the importance of proactively assisting guests approaching the entrance whenever possible.

Gostou Loved the campsite in general, great space!
It was situated perfectly to the rowing lake.

We were a family camping for a rowing event and were put in the section with 20 somethings who were partying…

We're also grateful for your comments, as they help us improve. I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the shop. We do stock bread, but it's kept in the freezer rather than on the shelves. We made this change because, when we stocked fresh bread, very little of it sold and we ended up with a lot of waste. We appreciate that this isn't very obvious, so we'll certainly look at making it clearer for future guests.

We were camped in rafters field by the road, which was very busy and relentless noise all day / night which didn't make for a good night sleep.

Gostou Vicinity to the national watersport centre. Plenty of space on pitch.

Não gostou We were in the Rafters field. We stayed Saturday to Monday for an event. The shower/toilet block was not cleaned over the entire weekend so come Monday am it was grim.

Gostou Location. The country park is lovely and plenty to see and do. Kids enjoyed it. It was our first ever camping experience so we didn't have huge hopes and was only doing one night to dip our toes in.

Não gostou Busy, but that was because there was an event on the weekend we stayed. So no ones fault really.
Some of the toilets didn't flush well and the bathroom facilities maybe need a small revamp. They were ok, adequate for our needs, as we only stayed one night.
Few rowdy people till half ten but when the sun went down, it was quiet.
We were placed right next to a wasp nest which was very awkward. But to be honest, our car was parked between the tent and it, so in fairness they didn't really get in or bother us too much. And I hate wasps so I would have been the first to run a mile.
