Mi è piaciuto The site itself is lovely, well laid out with good facilities. Good proximity to Nottingham.

We were wary of going due to recent bad reviews. Glad we ignored them and went. It is a lovely clean site.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a dislike but the loos could do with a freshen up. Not in the best co dition but they do what you need them to. Lots of facilities, loos work and showers are clean and warm.

Mi è piaciuto Good sized well kept pitches.

Non mi è piaciuto WCs a little messy. Showers flood ( take crocs), but ok.

No one available on check-in to supply information- had to rely on map.

Fire safety lax. BBQs, open fires and fireworks at night, despite heatwave & tinder dry grass.

Mi è piaciuto The location was spot on as an athlete taking part in the outlaw weekend. Showers were fantastic.

Non mi è piaciuto We couldn't see the signs for waste water and being right down the far end of the site, made it a bit of a trek, even more so with the elsan. unable to connect to wifi, couldn't access the site at all.

We're very sorry to learn about the damage to your vehicle and appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention.

We would like to clarify that the height barrier is manned for 12 hours each day, and information about the barrier being lowered during operating hours is included in our arrival email. The barrier is in place to help prevent unauthorised access to the site and ensure the safety and security of our guests.

During these hours, a member of our team is based in the shop monitoring the barrier, which is clearly visible from that location when it is in the lowered position. We are sorry that you felt unsupported on arrival, as this is not the impression we want our guests to have. We will share your comments with the team to reinforce the importance of proactively assisting guests approaching the entrance whenever possible.

It was situated perfectly to the rowing lake.

We were a family camping for a rowing event and were put in the section with 20 somethings who were partying…
The shop wasn’t very good and didn’t even have bread

We're also grateful for your comments, as they help us improve. I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the shop. We do stock bread, but it's kept in the freezer rather than on the shelves. We made this change because, when we stocked fresh bread, very little of it sold and we ended up with a lot of waste. We appreciate that this isn't very obvious, so we'll certainly look at making it clearer for future guests.

We were camped in rafters field by the road, which was very busy and relentless noise all day / night which didn't make for a good night sleep.
