What customers say

Lovely, well-kept spot with amazing sea views and coastal path access. Facilities (toilets, showers, pool) mostly praised for cleanliness. Fish and chip shop and supermarket are popular. Families love the play park and entertainment. Great location for exploring, but can get busy/noisy peak times, with occasional cleanliness/Wi-Fi issues.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked The view.
Clean toilets/showers
Drink prices at the bar

Disliked No path walk down to the beach (apart from a manmade path down the side of the slope which isn’t for the faint hearted and very steep)

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch (overflow)

Liked Great that we got a pitch near the facilities, cliffs and play areas. Fish and chip shop great but busy, had to wait 30 mins for food. No buzzer facility so had to keep calling back. Great bar area and swimming pool. Generally a great family site.

Disliked No evening food served in the bar. Missing an opportunity for a simple bar menu or opportunity to order fish and chips to be delivered to the bar area so if you have kids you can get a drink, relax and your food arrives to your table.

Local attractions

Leave the car behind: buses running between Scarborough and Bridlington pick up from the end of the Crows Nest Caravan Park drive and discount day tickets are available to keep more money for seaside rock. The kids will probably clamour first for Scarborough: there are the North Bay and South Bay beaches to bounce around as well as the traditional seaside fairground and donkey rides. But Scarborough’s also a hotspot for culture vultures, with the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Scarborough Art Gallery and Rotunda Museum alongside regular festivals and events throughout the year. Fab Filey is even closer: this Edwardian town has a five-mile stretch of sand and is backed by the peninsula and cliffs of Filey Brigg – this is the place to birdwatch and wildlife spot, with rockpools along the beach and many species of birds and beasts to see all year round. The 110-mile Cleveland Way starts here for hiking your way around Yorkshire’s history and heritage: Scarborough Castle, Whitby Abbey and Dracula tales, Mount Grace Priory and Rievaulx Abbey are all along the route. Away from the seaside and vampires, puff between Whitby and Pickering on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, veer between villages in the North York Moors National Park or get citified around York and Hull, all within easy driving distance of Crows Nest.
