What customers say
This peaceful, adult-only campground gets rave reviews for its scenic beauty, abundant wildlife, and friendly owners, Ian and Terri. Guests love the tranquil vibe, fishing, and nearby nature trails. Accommodations and facilities are clean and well-kept, though a few mention a single, combined shower/toilet. The bumpy access road is occasionally noted. Highly recommended for a relaxing escape!

Liked Beautiful site in wonderful surroundings. Plenty of footpaths to explore and the Monkey Shed was well stocked with information on walking and cycling routes in the local area as well as having some provisions for sale. Facilities are new and kept immaculate. Customer service and communication was excellent. Free range animals made things interesting - you never knew what was going to walk past. Louth has plenty of options to eat and shop and the beaches are only a short drive away.
Disliked If you’re not keen on free range animals, beware! The chickens roam freely and this could be off putting to some. No washing up area.

From the manager: We were disappointed to read your review and are so sorry that you felt you had to leave early. We strive to ensure our facilities are clean and usable at all times.
You used the facilities on the evening you checked in, even messaging us around 1am to advise you thought the toilet might be constantly running after flushing. We believe you used the facilities the next evening, and at no point did you mention or message us to advise that there was any issue, which would have given us an opportunity to put things right. You then chose to leave in the early hours of the morning.
As you were the only electric hook-up pitch in use that weekend, nobody else was using the facilities.
We always encourage feedback, good or bad, but it is polite to address matters at the time, rather than try to shame an establishment online when there is nothing we can then do to improve your experience.
