A peaceful, adults-only spot. Hosts Ian and Terri are super helpful. Enjoy the lovely grounds with roaming animals, calm lakes, and great fishing. Clean facilities, though only one shower/toilet. Bit of a bumpy track in. Perfect for a relaxing escape surrounded by nature.

Liked So peaceful and tranquil. Not many other guests so very quiet and felt almost like a private retreat. Loved the turkeys, chickens and sheep coming to see us, so friendly! Hosts are great, there when you need them but otherwise left us to our holiday. Plenty of walks for the little dog locally and lovely to see owls, swans and other birds out in the wild. Toilet/shower spotlessly clean at all times. Easy to get to shops nearby if needed and a short car ride (approx 15 mins) to Louth. Would highly recommend this site. GREAT value for money.
Disliked No WiFi and quite limited phone signal, appreciate it’s a quiet break out in the sticks but some WiFi to keep connected to folks back at home would be useful but didn’t in any way spoil our break as there is so much to enjoy. (Purely just a personal preference and shouldn’t deter anyone from booking)

Liked Made to feel very welcome by Ian and his wife, the camping pitches are around the two fishing lakes which create a great view first thing in the morning, had everything I needed, would happily return in the future.
Disliked Minor thing but the road leading to the lakes is an unpaved gravel track that some might find a bit uneven, didn’t cause me any pro and I was towing a trailer.

Liked Lovely site. Peaceful and relaxing. Spacious pitches. Facilities excellent . Cafe on site . Beautiful fishing lake and plenty of wildlife. We had breakfast delivered to our motorhome door and it was the best breakfast we have eaten and very reasonable price . Will definitely return .

Liked Lovely peaceful place, nice and quiet. Clean facilities. Great welcome, lots of free range animals roaming around, all very friendly.Good place to just chill. Nice walking by the disused canal, unfortunately having an elderly dog & buggy for her the walk to Louth wasn't doable due to stiles.

Liked Beautiful site in wonderful surroundings. Plenty of footpaths to explore and the Monkey Shed was well stocked with information on walking and cycling routes in the local area as well as having some provisions for sale. Facilities are new and kept immaculate. Customer service and communication was excellent. Free range animals made things interesting - you never knew what was going to walk past. Louth has plenty of options to eat and shop and the beaches are only a short drive away.
Disliked If you’re not keen on free range animals, beware! The chickens roam freely and this could be off putting to some. No washing up area.
