  • Pet-friendly site on 235 acres of parkland
  • Half an hour's drive from Silverstone
  • Fishing lakes, bars and restaurants
What a whopper of a site. Award-winning activity and fishing centre Billing Aquadrome is a couple of miles from Great Billing in Northamptonshire and set over 235 acres of green parkland and lakes. With so much to do around its grounds, it's likely that you'll want to stay put here for your entire trip… and if you do desire to speed off somewhere, Silverstone is only half an hour's drive away. The site is set an aquadrome surrounded by water, so it has fishing lakes of varying sizes and depths where avid anglers can cast off for carp and common mirror carp, catfish, pike, roach, bream, tench and rudd. Bring along your own fishing kit and an up-to-date licence, and buy a fishing ticket from the team if you want to try your luck. Away from the water, the many other facilities include bars and restaurants (yes, plural, plus a beer garden). Just take note that the bar, beer garden and restaurant are all adults-only from 10pm. There is a seasonal swimming pool on site; one swimming session is permitted per day and has to be booked in advance. And speaking of the essentials... there are takeaways, a supermarket and shops right on site too, as well as picnic areas, Sky Sports and – if you need your barnet tamed after all that activity – a hairdresser's.

What customers say

This large, family-friendly park boasts plenty of activities, especially for kids, like water sports and play areas. Recent investments mean lots of new and improved facilities. Staff are usually friendly and helpful, but some guests noted toilet cleanliness issues, overcrowding, and noise, particularly on busy weekends. Pitch assignments and site organization also got mixed reviews.

Liked The cyclone and water entertainment on the Saturday was free and good fun.
We like the greene king pub on the outside of the site was great.

Disliked We were on the end of the row and people kept using our pitch as a cut through.
Small children all over the place unattended.
The toilet facilities. Old, dated, flooding. Someone/something had left excrement on the men's toilet floor
Loud noise
Clubhouse was expensive

From the manager: Thanks so much for your feedback! Our jam-packed entertainment program really is the best around, and with our fantastic facilities, you’re pretty much guaranteed a great time.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed by people walking through your pitch while we can’t control everyone’s actions, if we’d been notified earlier, we might have been able to assist. Our park is safe and perfect for children and families to relax and keep a watchful eye, especially on the touring pitches where there’s plenty of free space for the little ones to run around and enjoy themselves.

Apologies for the dirty floor in the toilets when it gets busy, sometimes these things slip through, but we’ll make sure our touring team keeps on top of it.

Thanks again for sharing your experience, and we hope to see you back soon for more fun

Liked Facilities/entertainment/spacious/value/ something for everyone, even a park for the dogs. Loved it

Disliked Noise of an evening, loud music /saw open fires/people just pitching up anywhere, so when we arrived, someone was in our pitch.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thanks so much for your lovely feedback! We’re thrilled you loved the facilities, entertainment, and especially our dog friendly park because let’s face it, our furry friends are VIPs too and definitely deserve a holiday!

As for BBQs, they’re allowed as long as everyone follows the rules. We want Billing to be the best fun for all, two-legged and four-legged alike.

Sorry about the noise and the mix-up with your pitch sounds like someone was eager to jump the queue! Our touring team are on it, making sure everyone’s in the right spot and keeping the vibes friendly for all.

We’re always looking at ways to improve, and it seems we still have a bit to do with our touring pitches thanks for bearing with us while we work on it!

Thanks again for being part of the fun at Billing!

Loved it.

Liked Ease of booking. Entertainment, arcades, water sports, circus. There is certainly plenty to do around the park. I
Signing around the park. Toilet blocks and showers.
Pitch size, clean and tidy around even though it was very busy.

Disliked That no one sticks to the pitch numbers given. We turned up and someone was on our pitch. Spoke to the warden, who was very helpful and friendly, told us we can find anywhere else that no one was using.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback and for being such a loyal regular guest!

Our touring teams are always on hand to assist, so I’m a little unsure why you weren’t able to get onto your pitch they are all numbered! I’ll be looking into this with our Touring Manager to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Billing is bursting at the seams with things to see and do from our jam-packed activities programme to our non-stop entertainment and fantastic facilities. In fact, there’s so much going on that you might just need a holiday to recover from this holiday!

We’re proud to welcome a wide variety of people to our parks, and we want everyone to experience a bit of the fun. There’s something here for everyone, and we hope your next visit is full of the good vibes, big smiles, and relaxing moments you’ve come to expect from your stays with us.

Liked The size of the site and the facilities

Disliked They were very dis organised and when we got to are allotted pitch it was already taken, there is always a lot of car lane moving around at fast speeds

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback.

We’re very lucky to have such a large park with plenty of facilities and activities for our guests to enjoy, so we’re pleased to hear you appreciated this.

I’m sorry to hear about the disorganisation you experienced and that your allotted pitch was already taken when you arrived. Our dedicated Touring Team should be visible and available to assist in situations like this, and pitches are clearly numbered I will follow this up with our Touring Manager to understand what happened.

We do encourage all guests to drive slowly on-park, as per our signage, but we are also looking into adding more visible signs around the park to help reinforce this message.

Thank you again for sharing your experience.

Liked Lots of open spaces for children and families to play, ride bikes, have picnics etc. Plenty varied activities

Disliked Disappointed that you don’t tend to see staff walking round the large site. It would be nice to see staff to be able to ask their advice, directions etc. also to feel that someone is actually aware what is going on on site. Our caravan was egged during the evening.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback.

We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the open spaces and variety of activities for children and families.

I’m sorry to learn about your caravan being egged during your stay that’s certainly not the experience we want our guests to have. I’d like to reassure you that our Welcome Team and Security Teams do walk the park regularly, and if they see anything untoward, they will always challenge or deal with any issues. As the park has become busier, we have also increased our security presence to ensure our guests feel safe and supported.

Your comments about seeing more team walking around the park are noted, and we’ll share this with the management teams as part of our continuous improvements.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to welcome you back for a more enjoyable visit in the future.

Liked Well equipped site with lots of things to do for the grandkids.

Disliked Very noisy site, pitches are small and too close to each other ie 1 mt between each other.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thanks for the lovely feedback we’re so glad the grandchildren had a blast!
We’ve packed the park full of fun, so there’s never a dull moment (or a bored little face!).

As for the noise yep, we do get a little lively, especially when the excitement kicks in! And those pitches… let’s just say we like to keep things neighbourly! If you’re after a bit more wiggle room next time, let us know and we’ll see what we can do to get you a quieter corner.

Thanks again for visiting we’d love to welcome you back soon!
